A Common Ground Through A Common Sound

The reception will include a musical performance by the Polyphony Ensemble and a conversation with Nabeel Abboud Ashkar, co-founder and director of Polyphony. 

Polyphony uses the unique power of classical music to transcend cultural and social boundaries between Arab and Jewish communities to build a rich, diverse and vibrant civil society in Israel. Polyphony runs a multi-tiered program and partnership with leading Israeli cultural and educational organizations, to help bridge the divide between Arab and Jewish youth through classical music and related art forms.

The music program will include works by Beethoven, Mozart, Puccini, Offenbach and more, performed by the Polyphony String Quartet and sopranos Anastasia Klevan and Deema Azar.
